Mt Cook Backpackers/Dormitory

Glentanner Park offers affordable hostel accommodation in peaceful surroundings. Being set amongst a working sheep station with breath taking views of Mount Cook, this is a real kiwiana experience.

Fantastic facilities are available to all backpackers in our 10 bed dormitory. Room facilities include a toilet and hand basin and WIFI internet access, and holiday park facilities include a shared kitchen, dining and TV area, laundry, bathroom and an indoor/outdoor BBQ pavilion. Showers are included and you are required to supply your own linen and cooking equipment, however this can be hired.

Glentanner Park is just 18km from Mt Cook National Park. Transport to and from Mount Cook Village is available twice daily in the summer season with Cook Connection. Bookings are essential and can be made at the Glentanner Park visitor information centre reception.

Backpackers/Dormitory is not recommended for families.
