“Camped here for a single night before doing some walking in the Mt Cook area. The site is suprisingly well kitted considering its remote location. The setting amongst the trees is superb and offers quite a private feel between pitches. The kitchen was great and the TV room very large with tables and sofas on hand. When I was there the shower blocks were basic but clean. Apart from a small campground at the foot of Mt Cook this is the only real site in the area for miles around with basic creature comforts. I’ll be heading back here on my next visit for sure!”
