Here at Glentanner Park Centre, we are proud to be Mount Cook’s only fully equipped campground and RV Park, and Mt Cook’s leading budget accommodation provider. We are also proud to be working together to help those in the Aoraki Mount Cook region, and throughout New Zealand.

From time to time we run campaigns to fundraise for charity’s and other organisations or groups. Glentanner Park are also proud to be the sponsors of a local basketball team, Aoraki.

Holiday Parks Breast Cancer Research Trust Challenge

In 2010 Glentanner Park Centre staff climbed the same vertical height as Aoraki Mount Cook by climbing from the park to a peak on Glentanner Station 10 times! Everyone did so well and had fun getting fit! This effort raised nearly $700 for the Breast Cancer Research Trust.

We will do the climb again this coming summer (2011).

 

Aoraki Mount Cook Ultimate Fitness Challenge

Glentanner Park Centre is proud to support this community challenge. The challenge invovles those entered completing a set number of exercises and workouts each week for 9 weeks. The final week is awalk, run or cycle from Aoraki Mt Cook Village to Glentanner. The challenge will end with a BBQ in the Glentanner BBQ pavilion. We can’t wait!
